Brave Women Writers’ Circle
Corporate Program

Write with purpose and impact in your workplace.

12 Weeks. 6-12 Women of Influence.

Weekly Zooms. Private Mentoring. Accountability.
One-day closing circle in nature in Red Hill, Mornington Peninsula.

In the world of work, your words matter. So often, women’s words remain unwritten and unspoken. If you want to affirm your identity and authenticity at work or advance a cause such as eliminating discrimination, addressing mental health issues or improving sustainability practices, the Brave Women Writers’ Circle will help your women find their voice and write a compelling case for change.

As an experienced author, writer and educator, the circle is led and facilitated by Carolyn Tate. With between 6 and 12 places per circle, the 12-week program is designed to guide each woman in bringing their writing project to life in a community of other women at work.

We need more women in the world like Carolyn, women with the courage to share their stories in service of helping others heal and grow. Combined with her belief in the power of purpose and the written word, Brave Women Write is a valuable resource for women looking to navigate through complex times with purpose .

When you join the circle, you’ll receive a signed copy of Brave Women Write, a Writing Project Planner to gain clarity on your project, two mentoring sessions with me (one before we kick-off and a second one at six weeks), 12 x 1.5 hour Zoom gatherings (8am to 9.30am on Fridays), an invitation to a private chat group and attendance at a one-day closing circle in stunning Red Hill (optional but just a one-hour drive from Melbourne’s CBD).

During our time together, you’ll set your writing goals, gain clarity on your central idea and purpose for writing, set a structure and plan for your project, test your ideas with others for further ideation, share your writing for constructive feedback and advance your writing skills to become a better, bolder, braver writer.

The Brave Women Writers’ Circle is a great way for you to be kept accountable to achieve your writing goals with a courageous and compassionate group of women in your workplace.

Carolyn finds her heart in her writing and this is where she truly shines as she composes her thoughts based on real-life events. A truly inspirational teacher and mentor.

The program is designed for women who yearn to write stories of change—no matter how big or small. Whether you want to write your own story to leave a legacy for other women or write about issues of diversity and inclusion at work, this circle is for you. Together, we will write about the issues that matter to women with clarity, courage, and conviction.

Participants can also book private time with me if desired. This could be used as a workshop to flesh out your idea and plan your project or a review of your writing with recommendations for improvement.

The Brave Women Writers’ Circle culminates in a one-day nature retreat at our enchanting farm in Red Hill, Mornington Peninsula. It’s here that we’ll celebrate our achievements, offer our reflections and set future intentions around the campfire. We’ll also enjoy a sumptuous farm-grown lunch together. (Red Hill is a rural area with rolling hills, native forests, wineries and bush walks.)

Because your story matters.

My latest discovery in the world of writing is Brave Women Write. This book is a beautifully written gem, filled with insights and wisdom designed to help women find their voice and share their story with the world. This is relevant for me because I’m writing my first book - the Feng Shui guide to Abundance - and Carolyn’s book has been a positive inspiration during the editing process. What’s even better is that I've joined Carolyn's writing circle, which meets virtually, Friday mornings at 8am. Being part of this community of brave and talented women has been inspiring. It’s helped me unlock my creativity and tap into the flow. So, if you're a woman with a story to tell, I highly recommend Carolyn’s book and joining us on Friday mornings for writing inspiration and support.
