Are you a woman who yearns to share your story with the world? Do you often find yourself suppressing your inner voice and waiting for that perfect day to start writing? Or perhaps you’ve begun writing and are feeling stuck? If so, the Brave Women Writers’ Circle is the right place for you.

As an experienced author, writer and educator, the Brave Women Writers’ Circle is led and facilitated by Carolyn Tate. The 12-week program is designed to guide you in bringing your writing project to life while connecting you to a courageous community of other women writers.

My own book coincided with the release of Brave Women Write. I devoured Carolyn’s book over a weekend. I’ve embraced her writing tips, exploring fresh and creative ways to channel my voice on women’s issues through her transformative writing circles. Collaborating with other women who share a passion for positive change through words has given me the strong sense of accountability I was seeking.
Natalie Yan-Chatonsky, Author of The Art of Full Time Living

When you join the circle you’ll receive:

  1. A signed copy of Brave Women Write.
  2. Writing Project Planner to help you gain clarity on your project.
  3. A one-hour mentoring session to set your writing goal and plan.
  4. A weekly Zoom meeting for learning, writing and sharing (Friday 8am to 9.30am).
  5. Access to a private What’s App chat group.
  6. Allocation of a writing buddy.
  7. Attendance at a one-day retreat in Clifton Hill, Melbourne.
  8. Email support from Carolyn as, and when, it is needed.
  9. Attendance at a one-day closing circle in Red Hill, Mornington Peninsula.

During our time together, you’ll set your writing goals, gain clarity on your central idea and purpose for writing, set a structure and plan for your project, test your ideas with others for further ideation, share your writing for constructive feedback and advance your writing skills to become a better, bolder, braver writer.

The Brave Women Writers’ Circle is a great way for you to be kept accountable to achieve your writing goals with a courageous and compassionate group of women.

A friendly, inspiring, interesting and knowledgeable environment to go on an adventure....A new world for me which I really look forward to each week!

The program is designed for women who yearn to write stories of change—no matter how big or small. If you want to give a voice to your grandmother, tell your story as a legacy for your children, advance a cause in your workplace or fight for justice for Mother Nature, this circle is for you. Together, we will write about the issues that matter to women with clarity, courage and conviction.

Participants can also book additional private time with me at a preferred members rate (if desired). This could be used as a workshop to flesh out your idea and plan your book chapters or a review of your writing with recommendations for improvement.

The Brave Women Writers’ Circle culminates in a one-day closing of the circle at our enchanting farm in Red Hill, Mornington Peninsula in Victoria (just one-hour from Melbourne’s CBD). At this circle we’ll celebrate our achievements, offer our reflections and set future intentions around the campfire. We’ll also enjoy a sumptuous farm-grown lunch together. (Red Hill is a rural area with rolling hills, native forests, wineries and bush walks. Travel costs are for your care. Why not make a weekend of it?)

If you yearn to write your story and make the world a better place, book your spot in the Brave Women Writers’ Circle now. Don’t wait any longer.

Because your story matters.

It’s been such a privilege to be part of the first Brave Women Writers’ Circle hosted by Carolyn Tate. There's so much wisdom in her book that comes to life in different ways when exploring in community with other women. The cadence of meeting and focusing on our writing and storytelling was a privilege I treasured each week. I recommend the opportunity to any woman ready to explore the stories brewing within her.
