Brave Women Writers' Circle
Friday 19 June | 10am - 4pm
Kookaburra Rise | Red Hill | Mornington Peninsula
Find your voice and write your story with other women as we honour our matriarchal ancestors and advance the rights of women and Mother Earth.
Inspired by my book Brave Women Write, these sessions are for new writers and seasoned storytellers ready to write and connect with other women and nature.
No workshops. No over-structuring. More writing.
For all of us—including me.
We’ll gather at Kookaburra Rise and move through a shared writing practice:
✨ 2 x one-hour writing sessions in the morning
🥗 A long, shared lunch (1.5 hours to connect, breathe, and nourish)
✨ 2 x one-hour writing sessions in the afternoon
This is about women sitting side by side, finding our voices and getting the words down. If you’ve been craving time, focus, and quiet creative companionship, this is it.
Important info and what to bring: • Please bring a vegetarian dish to share for dinner and the drink of your choice. • Bring your water bottle, sunscreen, hat and journal and/or laptop. • Wear comfortable, casual clothing suitable for outdoors. • To provide a brave and safe space for women to connect and ensure no disruption to the flow of the program, please be on time and present for the whole period. As this gathering is freely offered, one of the best ways to support my work is through buying copies of the book for yourself and your friends.
