Think twice before signing!

Hello again from Ubud! As I mentioned in my last blog, I’m taking a month long work-cation to rejuvenate and celebrate the reinvention of my business – and to set some audacious intentions for 2014.

One of these intentions is to reinvent marketing and make it a force for good in the world. (Yes, I’m eating that elephant one bite a time!).

Which brings me to something that’s been seriously bothering me about the information-marketing industry – you know, all those mass-marketed business programs that promise you’ll become a guru in your industry with massive followings and seven figure incomes in no time. Oh, but only if you follow their top-secret step-by-step recipe for success.

I’m sending out a clarion call for people to ignore the hype and think twice before signing up to these BS programs.

Sustainable and profitable businesses are not built on slick and clever marketing tactics, shaky foundations and instant income success. They’re built slowly, mindfully and purposefully from the inside out. They’re built from a deep connectedness to your purpose (your cause), a passion to fix what’s broken in your industry, a clear vision, outstanding offerings, values-based pricing and a desire to serve  – all things most of these programs simply don’t tackle.

If you’re passionate about reinventing your business slowly, mindfully and purposefully, then I’d love to chat. Email me to book a time or attend my Reinvent your Business webinar (live from Ubud at 1pm Thurs 14 Nov). I’ll explain the process I went through to reinvent my own business and give you some low cost (and no cost) ideas on how to get started.

I look forward to connecting with you very soon!

Yours in conscious marketing
