How to be the best for the world, not just in the world

Since I last touched base with you, I’ve been on a steep learning curve, both personally and professionally. I’ve learnt about sociocracy, how to set up an advisory board, what experiential learning actually is, how to become a more conscious leader, how to hold the vision and let go of the process and how to use the Business Model Canvas (a tool for change-makers and visionaries passionate about defying outmoded business models and designing tomorrow’s businesses.)

But the most exciting part is that Carolyn Tate & Co. is now a B Corporation! As one of the first 45 founding members in Australia and a global community of more than 1000 companies, it was a very special moment to be amongst so many conscious business leaders at the launch party recently. Read the full blog on ‘Why I became a B Corp’ and find out how you can too. Read here

If you’re keen on building a business that makes a positive contribution to humanity and the planet on every level, I can’t recommend both the Business Canvas Model and the B Corp Certification highly enough.

Are you on the Slow School mailing list?

By now, no doubt you’ve read about the launch of The Slow School of Business (Slow School) or even attended a class or two?  Each Monday, separate to this fortnightly blog, I’ll be sending out a Weekly Slow School News email to those who opt in.

In these emails I share open-heartedly the inside information (the good, the bad and the ugly) on how Slow School is progressing in the hope you’ll find them insightful and inspiring for your own business (and life) journey.

If you’re not on the Slow School mailing list already and would like to receive this weekly update, please visit the page, scroll to the bottom and Subscribe.
