Happy. Humble. Proud. That’s how I feel this Friday morning at 11.24am as I write this blog.
Last night, 18 of the most beautiful human beings shared their vision for a better world in front of an audience of 120 people. And they blew us all away!
Just three weeks ago these change makers turned up to our first class for the ‘Is there a TED talk in you?’ program. While they each had a powerful idea to share, many of them had no idea how it would unfold or just how much work they’d have to do, to bring their speech to life.
What was most stunning to see was the unfolding of friendships as they each found buddies to practice with, sought support from the facilitators and rehearsed relentlessly with family and friends. They all worked so very hard and the payoff was immense.
Magic happened in that room last night and each and every speaker deserved every single clap and holler from the devoted audience. For a list of our speakers and their topics Click here (Stay tuned for the videos).

- Guru Dudu for keeping the crowd entertained in between speakers. You made us laugh, dance and rediscover our inner child.
- Robert Moorman who not only deftly managed all the filming, but gave his own speech and won the ‘People’s Choice Award’!
- Yamini Naidu, Jon Yeo and Sandy McDonald for co-facilitating with me and for your professionalism, enthusiasm and guidance.
- Our Community Partner, Hub Australia (the best co-working space ever) for providing the space for our team to rehearse in.

- Imogen Coles for catering, Rachel and Olivia for filming and Rachel Thomson for hosting with Genevieve Sovereign.
Pablo Picasso said ‘The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away.’ And that’s what these wonderful courageous visionaries did last night. They gave us each a gift that we’ll never forget. Thank you!
