Purpose…is it just a marketing ploy?

I’m on a serious deadline to deliver the manuscript for Conscious Marketing (to be published by Wiley’s sometime in 2015!).

At the core of the new marketing model I’ve proposed in the book, is that thing called…Purpose. I simply didn’t think it would be possible to write so much on a topic that seems so elusive and unattainable. That’s why the book is low on theory and high on practical examples of companies that are both purpose-driven and profitable to give us all inspiration.

“Purpose is all about living and working at the intersection of your talents, passions and strengths in service of the greater good. You can tell if you’re on purpose by the simple answer to this question – If I wasn’t being paid for this work, would I still do it?”
